By careful technical-economic feasibility studies, TECAM defines for each kind of wastewater the best evaporation technology (hot water, heat pump, mechanical steam recompression). The creation of vacuum in the boiling chamber and the use of multiple effects systems allow a reduction of power consumptions, with a consequent lowering of Operating Expenditure.

The on-site treatment of leachate from Municipal Solid Waste is a more profitable solution than transport and disposal of it. TECAM offers different technologies, as the UASB (Up Flow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket), that, exploiting a biological process, allows the energetic valorization of leachate by the biogas production.

TECAM, having realized many plants for organic compounds and heavy metals removal from wastewater from contaminated soils’ remediation and washing, is able to define the more suitable technologies of treatment for any particular case, analyzing carefully the relationship between costs and benefits, with the aim of a rapid achievement of Return on Investment.

Mobile treatment plants designed by TECAM meet the needs of rapid interventions, temporary or periodic. Placed inside containers, remotely monitorable, thanks to their characteristics they can be easily handled and situated on the outside. For less than three years long intervention periods, rental is the more convenient choice.

The “zero liquid discharge” is obtainable in almost all industrial fields by combination of different wastewater treatment technologies. As they have as goal the total recycle of process water, the “zero discharge” systems aim at highest pollutants concentration, minimizing therefore their volumes and in consequence disposal costs.

TECAM has designed a system for treatment of digestate from methanation process able to reduce its volumes and nitrogen content, in compliance with European legislation (Nitrates Directive), that limits its spread in agricultural lands. The use and the sale of treatment’s by-products as fertilizers or fuels for thermal energy generation, facilitate the plant’s management costs reduction.
