Ultrafiltration

With the ultrafiltration technique it is possible to remove high molecular weight organic substances, particles in suspension, bacteria. The degree of membrane filtration can be comprised between 0.01 and 0.1 micron. They find wide application as separation technology. A particularly application is the removal of oils, degreasing baths fats, without altering in appreciable way the concentrations of the active substances that are present in the same baths. In this way it is possible to extend the baths life, before executing the total renovation. Thanks to the new generation membranes it is possible to make a continuous filtration directly in the bath of use.

The plant capacities go from 100 l/hour to 3000 l/hour.

Reverse osmosis

The reverse osmosis is the phenomenon that occur when a difference of pressure , contrary to the osmotic pressure and higher than it, is applied to the surface of a semipermeable membrane that separates two solutions with different concentration. In this way the solvent flow happens from the more concentrated solution to the more diluted solution.

The reverse osmosis is one of the used technologies in order to render the marine water drinkable and for the production of demineralized water to service of working lines when the service water is too much rich of salts. Tecam realizes compact solutions with capacities up to 150 mc/h.

Electrodialysis

The electrodyalisis consists in the migration trough a semipermeable membrane, of the ion components of a solution trough an electric field. Wit ionic exchange membrane, respectively one anionic and cationic the other, the content of ions of a concentrate solution can be largely reduced. This process is favorable for solution with elevated ionic concentration.
