Chemical-physical plants


The plants of chemical-physical treatment of continuous type are applications that vary case for case based on the discharge limits set up from the enforced norms, to the available spaces and the demands of the customer.

They are equipped of a initial section treatment of de-toxification that depends as an example on the type of polluting in income like de-cyaniding, de-chromate treatment etc.

Generally they are made up of the following sections:

  • Coagulation
  • Neutralization
  • Flocculation
  • Sedimentation
  • Treatment of the resultant mud.

With the more and more restrictive limits imposed for the discharge of depurates waters, is necessary to equip the plants of filtration stations:

  • Sand filtration for the removal of suspended solids
  • Carbon filtration for the adsorption of organic substances
  • Selective resin filtration for the abatement of heavy metal traces.

With this kind of plants it is possible to treat capacities up to 200 mc/h.


Chemical-physical discontinuous plant have the advantage to manage small amount in discontinuous of effluent, that thanks to adequate accumulation sections can be treat in successive times at the moment of the discharge. They can be also be inserted in continuous chemical-physical plant contests, for the treatment of effluent with particularly elevated polluting concentrations, to the aim to avoid that these put in crisis the entire continuous plant.
